Are you worried your diet is having an adverse effect on your well being?
If you’re experiencing difficulty digesting foods and have symptoms such as bloating, IBS, headaches and unexplained weight gain you may have a food intolerance.
The numbers facing allergies, sensitivities and intolerances is on the up. Up to half the US population, it has been reported, could be afflicted with an intolerance or sensitivity to an allergen.
I see several clients who tell me they’ve tried everything: Paleo, Whole30, Elimination Diets and nothing seems to help. The problem with these diets is that it only looks at a small number of fods of foods.
The idea of testing every single food you’ve ever eaten for an intolerance sound overwhelming (and kind of impossible).
I get it. I’ve been there. After two years of breaking out in hives every single day, trying several diets and other possible solutions, I about gave up. I had no idea what to do. I had even had several blood test testing for allergies and they all came up negative.
When I heard about this hair test, I was skeptical at first. But when I got the results, I was shocked to see that some of the “healthy” foods I ate all the time were on the list. I eliminated them and then started to eliminate my hives. For me these were things like tomatoes, avocado and kale.
