Healthy Habits Are the Most Punk Rock Thing You Do

I had a little fun today while I mused about what sets my most successful clients apart from the others.

What I came to in my musings? They’re pretty punk rock.

Stick with me; it comes together and makes sense!

Kurt Cobain said it best: “Punk is musical freedom. It’s saying, doing and playing what you want. In Webster’s terms, ‘nirvana’ means freedom from pain, suffering and the external world, and that’s pretty close to my definition of Punk Rock.”

To rephrase: saying, doing and living how you want is the definition of Punk Rock.

What are healthy habits, if not a way of living and being the person you most want to be? Of ignoring cultural trends, extravagant marketing promises, and instead creating a life and habits based on our own internal desires and beliefs.
